New Honda 7-Seater SUV For India Under Consideration – Report

Honda Cars India has some really big plans for the Indian market. This time around, the Japanese automaker will target the highly-competitive SUV segment with two new models. According to a fresh media report, the company will bring in a sub-4 metre SUV to challenge Brezza, Venue and Sonet and a mid-size to rival Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

The report further states that Honda is considering 6 and 7-seater versions of its new mid-size SUV to target wider audience. If launched, the new Honda 7-seater SUV will take head-to-head against the Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari. Internal sales estimates of the SUV are around 4,100 units per month. The carmaker might use the new-generation Honda BR-V (global-spec) platform for its new 7-seater SUV.
