The model will be developed under Suzuki and Toyota partnership and produced at Toyota’s Karnataka based facility. It will underpin Toyota’s DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform. Maruti’s new mid-size SUV will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and MG Astor. It’s likely to measure around 4.2 meters in length and rumoured to be named Maruti Vitara.
