Maruti Suzuki has further extended the new Celerio model lineup with the addition of the new CNG variant. Based on the VXi trim, the model has been priced at Rs 6.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It promises an impressive mileage of 35.60km/kg. The hatchback has a CNG tank capacity of 60-litres.

If reports are to be believed, the company will bring in a new mid-size SUV by Diwali 2022. The model will be developed under Suzuki and Toyota partnership and produced at Toyota’s Karnataka based facility. It will underpin Toyota’s DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform. Maruti’s new mid-size SUV will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and MG Astor. It’s likely to measure around 4.2 meters in length and rumoured to be named Maruti Vitara.
