Maruti Suzuki is preparing a wide range of new cars along with new generations and facelifts of existing models. The company will launch the updated Ertiga, XL6 and the Baleno in early part of 2022, and all of these models have been spotted testing. A test mule of the 2022 Maruti Ertiga facelift has been spotted for the first with minimum camouflage.

The updates on the 2022 Maruti Ertiga facelift will be very minimal. The spotted model was fully uncovered, except for the grille part. The major changes to the exterior will be made to the grille, which is likely to have some resemblance to the Baleno facelift. The rest of the design remains largely unchanged.

Compared to the Ertiga, the updated XL6 will receive comprehensive changes. The XL6 facelift is likely to get all-new front fascia with new grille, updated front bumper and revised headlights. Adding to it, the MPV could get updated tail-lights and new alloy wheels.

Similar to the exterior, the 2022 Maruti Ertiga is not likely to receive any significant update. The vehicle could get new colour interior scheme, new upholstery, and added features. It will continue to be offered as a 7-seater model; however, MSIL is planning to introduce the 7-seater version of the XL6 Crossover-MPV.

The Ertiga facelift will continue to be offered with the same 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. This engine churns out 104bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.
