That means, the updated model will continue to derive power from the existing 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2L Dualjet petrol with SHVS mild hybrid system powertrains. The naturally aspirated gasoline unit makes a top power of 83bhp and 110Nm of torque, and the Dualjet motor returns a claimed power of 89bhp with 110Nm of torque. Transmission choices will also remain unchanged.
Most of the cosmetic changes will be made at the front and rear ends. The new Maruti Baleno 2022 will come with newly-designed L-shaped wraparound headlamps with new LED DRLs. It will have new fog lamp assembly, a wider airdam and revised front bumper. The rear section will be revised with the newly-designed L-shaped taillamps, new tailgate and slightly tweaked bumper. The new Baleno facelift will be equipped with a new set of alloy wheels.
The new 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift will offer a larger, 9.0-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment unit. The info system will have a Sim-based connectivity suite offering features such as real-time tracking, geofencing, find your car and more. The new Maruti Baleno 2022 might also come with the new climate control buttons, a new steering wheel, cruise control, new seat upholstery and automatic headlamps and wipers.
